Well, we sent our little Pickle to her first day of Preschool. She has been so envious of Alice - her going to school while she's been "left behind." She's had her Mini Mouse backpack picked out for several weeks now and she's been looking forward to her preschool with Mrs. Christian and her friend, Delaney. I had to teach early today on campus and wasn't able to take her today (a bit emotional about that), but I was able to capture this video first thing this morning before getting her dressed and ready for her big first day. Daddy was able to bring her to Mrs. Christian's today, after a quick stop at Nana and Papa's house. We've been talking a lot about how to behave at school and practicing how to raise our hands when we have a question or wish to talk.
Alice was all about giving her tips and telling her the "in's and out's" of her old neighborhood (you know way back in the day when she was in Preschool:)
She put her backpack on first thing this morning and wouldn't take it off-- not even to eat her breakfast.
Not sure about this signature face, but she seems to use it an awful lot--She's a ham!
We weren't sure whether or not she'd be shy about walking up to the steps -- she wasn't. Andy said she eagerly ran right up the steps, asking Mrs. Christian where she was supposed to sit in the classroom.

I called Audrey from work after school. She told me all about singing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and eating Chocolate Chip Cookies for snack. Doesn't get any better than that!
So proud of our little big girl! I know Mrs. Christian will instill a love of learning and love for school the same way she did for Alice. She just has that magic touch and we are so lucky to have her as Audrey's teacher!
