Merry (1st) Christmas!

What a special day! We woke up this morning at home and headed to Wabash for Alice's 1st Christmas. We were surprised to see that Grandpa Bean had put Alice's name on the roof in lights! Wow- Santa definitely couldn't miss Gramsy and Grandpa's house this year!! Alice had a blast opening up her toys but the karaoke machine from Uncle Jay and Auntie Cait wins the prize for capturing the interest of an 11 month old. We really enjoyed this special holiday as a family.

With the Hubbards in town from New York, everyone gathered together on Saturday for an early Christmas celbration. Alice was really enjoying the toys (not so much all the adorable clothes she got). We has a great time spending time with everyone!

It's time for a haircut!

Aunt Marianne and Mommy decided it was time to get rid of my rat-tail. It was looking a little long in the back. I was ready for my first hair cut :)

11 Months Old!

I love feeding myself and making a huge mess!


I'm not officially crawling all over the place (and getting faster by the day!). I can even pull myself up to standing if I'm really interested in something.

It's hard to beleive I'll be one year old in less than 1 month!

Baby got BLING!

Alice got her ears pierced at Claire's on Saturday! We've been wanting to pierce her ears, but have been waiting for the right time. She was such a big girl and did a great job handling the experience. Alice cried more getting her shots at the doctor than getting her ear's pierced. Her ears are so sparkly and cute!


I honestly have no idea about what I'm getting into.


I'm not quite sure about you. Why are you marking my ears?


Okay, I'll admit it was a little scary, but


I've already forgotten about that piercing gun.


I'm feeling much better now. Look at my beautiful ears!

My 1st Thanksgiving

Alice spent her 1st Thanksgiving with both sides of the family. We had our Thanksgiving lunch at Andy's parents and then went to Wabash for two days. I'm regretting not taking enough pictures, but I did get a few good shot of Alice and her greatnana.

Breaking Through!

Well this weekend has been tough on little Alice. She is cutting her first 3 teeth . . all at once! The top two teeth and her bottom left tooth have all broke through the gums! We took her to immediate care on Sunday for a high fever and she's now on antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection. Needless to say, she's been a little fussy and needing a lot of extra TLC! Luckily, Papa Kingsley has been able watch her so we can finish up our work week. One more day until Thanksgiving break! We're both really looking forward to the extra time with her (as well as catching up our missed sleep!).

E-I-E-I-O

10 Months Old!

I'm getting to be such a big girl!

I'm now 10 months old! I can't believe I'm heading towards the 1 year mark! I've learned to wave and say "Hi" (in my own special way). I also love to pet the doggies and say "dog" as well as babble in my baby talk. I love to stand while leaning on my stand up toys and I'm just having a hard time getting the whole crawling thing down!

Possibly the Coolest Toy EVER!!

Dear Miss Amy,

Thank you so much for watching me last Monday and Friday. I had a great time playing with Keegan :) I LOVE the new toy Keegan let me borrow. I'm walking around in circles and I can't get enough of the all the toys. Mommy and Daddy also love how much it entertains me. I promise to take good care of it.

Alice and Norah had a playdate today while both dads worked on building shelves for the garage. I'm so excited about being able to park in a garage this winter! Thanks Stites for all your help today!
