Alice's 1st Birthday Party

We were so excited so many friends and family could join us at Alice's 1st birthday party. She is still in awe at all the fun toys and adorable outfits! Although it was a bit of a squeeze in our small house, we had a great time visiting with everyone. Thanks Stites for making the chili! It was perfect for the cold, snowy day!

Dear Alice,

I can't believe you are one year old today. Over the past year, I have enjoyed watching you grow from a tiny, premature infant to such a big girl with an even bigger personality. Memories of rocking you to sleep, singing you songs, waking you up in your crib, playing peek-a-boo, and reading our favorite books are priceless moments I will cherish from your first year of life. I think back to watching you move and kick during your ultrasound and wondering everything about you. Now that I've met you, I couldn't imagine what life was like before you arrived. Being your mom has been the greatest gift of my life. I love you so much. Happy birthday my little Alleycat!

The Big Birthday Girl

Nana and Papa came over to celebrate my big day today! I wasn't so sure about the hat at first, but when it came with my 1st taste of cake, I decided to keep it on for a little while. Of course, I loved all the attention.

I Love Bubbles!
