Preschool Graduation

Well, Alice is officially a preschool graduate!  She had her Small Blessings preschool graduation last night.

The kids sang songs, with each child getting a chance to walk to the microphone to introduce the songs or thank the parents.  Mrs. Christian also had each student announce what he/she wanted to be when he/she grew up.  Alice announced she wanted to be an artist.  She had a hard time deciding between artist and pony hair stylist (whatever that is!)

When it was her turn to walk across the stage to receive her diploma, she made sure to ham it up with a little wave to the crowd.

And cracked everybody up (love the look on Mrs. Christian's face) :)

So proud of this little graduate.  Thank you Mrs. Christian for you all you've done for Alice the past two years.   She has loved every minute of school, and it's because of her wonderful teacher!

It's a Party for Audrey!

We celebrate Audrey's 3rd birthday with Tinkerbell and Animals (nice connected theme, huh?).  Uncle Tommie volunteers for Animalia, and we were fortunate to book them for Audrey's birthday party.  Despite the prediction for rain, it was a beautiful afternoon.  The kids LOVED the show.  Especially getting the chance to be up close with the animals.

Audrey was very concerned about keeping a close eye on Frances throughout the afternoon.

Soccer Time

Alice has started her first soccer season --- Although it's definitely been a rainy (and even snowy) soccer season, she's been enjoying the sport, especially since her daddy has volunteered to help out with coaching.

Alice mostly chases the ball, but did score her first goal last weekend!  Every once in a while (not surprisingly) she will break out a pose, twirl, or l e a p on the field.

Audrey is her biggest fan and loves to warm up a bit on the field with Alice & daddy before the game starts. 

She is definitely her biggest cheerleader.  Here she is entertaining the fans with her "Go Owls" cheer!

She starts her own soccer club next week @ Forrest Park!

These two girls sure do love each other.  They both are a so sweet & caring and I just love watching them grow closer and closer (that is, until teenage years hit I'm sure!).  

For now, I'll take it!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Audrey Pickle!

Can't believe Audrey is three years old.

Remember this little baby???   

Time goes too fast, as always, but we are so proud of the big girl she is becoming.

She is a happy, carefree spirit who I'm told asks just like her daddy when he was little.

Hard to imagine isn't it?

She idolizes her big sister, is a natural at gymnastics, will "snuggle bug" when she's sleepy, and loves being independent.  She loves the color blue, all things Tinkerbell & Spiderman, and prefers to hop instead of walk.  Her favorite music is Taylor Swift and her bright blue eyes are just so hard to resist.

We love you to the moon!
