Well, I think it's official. We may have found a nickname that has "stuck" with Audrey (for better or for worse) . . . . "Audrey Pickle" or just "Pickle." I guess we can pass the blame on the Zito girls who first started the nickname, then Alice coming home saying "Audrey Pickle" and now, it has officially become a nickname.
Audrey is nearly 9 months and soooo close (but capable) of crawling. It's fun for us because we missed the entire crawling stage with Alice. Alice went from sitting, to the one-legged scoot, always hating to be on her tummy. Audrey, however, immediately flips to her tummy, sleeps on her tummy, and loves to now rock back and forth on her knees. We know any day now, she will just take off!
Along with the crawling, her top two teeth are coming in fast. She's wanting to eat people food loves her baby puffs and cheerios. Her little, curious personality is starting to show and it's so darn cute, and stubborn!
I'm happy to finally catch my breath with all the dissertation work. I have so much catching up to do with the blog (sigh), but it'll get done at some point. Now, I'm happy to report that we spent most of the weekend in our pajamas, hanging out, cleaning, and watching Strawberry Shortcake. Here are a few video clips of our little pickle!
