Getting Ready for Baby Boy!

As we are counting down the days until we meet the newest member of our family, I wanted to capture a few maternity photos and updated pictures of the girls before the baby arrives.  They are so excited about welcoming their baby brother into our family, and I know they will be kind and caring big sisters (for the most part!).  The girls are at a great age--love playing and spending time with each other--and miss each other when they are separated.  There is nothing better than being a mom to these beautiful girls and I can only image the love another baby will bring to our family.  3 1/2 weeks and counting if all goes as planned.  We will welcome baby (no name yet!) on 11/12/13.

Kindergarten Fall Party

Alice loves school -- She's a nerd intellectual just like her mommy :)

No, seriously, she loves her kindergarten teacher, Miss Repp, and looks forward to school every day.  We had her parent teacher conference recently and Miss Repp reported she is doing great both academically and socially.  Definitely nice to be on the other side of parent/teacher conferences and left feeling so proud of Alice.

I love that my job affords me the opportunity to have a flexible schedule and be able to volunteer in the classroom.  I worked with a few other parents to plan the fall party.  For her party, we had a pumpkin scavenger hunt.  Alice was beyond thrilled to have me in her classroom -- just wanted to bottle that up as I know that "mommy excitement" will fade slightly each year.  Check out her smile-- just precious!
