Dear Alice,
2 years old today! I can hardly believe it. Everyday you amaze me with your silly laugh and new knowledge. Each night I peek into your room to watch you sleep and can't believe I have been given such a wonderful gift. Soon you are going to be a big sister, and even though it may be difficult sharing mommy and daddy at first, I know you will take care of your little sister with lots of love. It's hard for me to describe how much I love you. Here are some of my favorite things you say that make me smile:
- Helping me with your "shoshion" (lotion) after bath-time
- Singing "Ba, Ba, Black, Sheep"
- Saying "No, no Stella" at least 10 times each night.
- "Where daddy go?" "Where mommy go?" "Where juice go?" (Where anything goes that she wants at the time.)
- The way you love to count (up to 13 now!)
- How you try to make 2 with your fingers but really show 4 fingers.
- Your "Go Jets" cheer with daddy.
- Rubbing mommy's belling and giving your baby sister a kiss.
- The way you smile with your whole face and squeeze your eyes shut.
- And of course, the way you say "lub u mommy" every night before bed. Those are the sweetest words I hear all day.
