Snow Day!!!!

We sure have had our fill of winter this year.  It's been the coldest with consecutive temperatures below 0 degrees and more snow in January than in a usual ENTIRE winter season.  This "polar vortex" they're calling it had had school closed and delayed more days than I'm keeping track-- and we are expected to get even more snow this weekend.  Alice wakes up every morning asking if there is a delay at school - it's become the norm.

At least today was warm enough (25 degrees) to take the kids outside to enjoy it.  Andy took Alice & Audrey to Forrest Park for a little sledding fun.   Minus a few face plants and wipe-outs, the girls had a great time sledding and playing in the snow.  Andy came out quite tired and sore from lugging Audrey up the hill while pulling the sled.  Hopefully these two will sleep good tonight!

I need them to please stop growing!  Such cuties!
